Meghan & Andy

Our story began in February of 2020, during Andy’s birthday party. The first thing Andy ever said to Meghan was a sarcastic “Okay, bye!!” as she left the party early without introducing herself to him or his friends. Eventually though, she made up for her rudeness, and Andy asked Meghan to go for drinks. Having already decided things simply would not work between them because he was much too tall, Meghan found an excuse not to go. Thrice more, over the course of a few months Andy tried, but Meghan said no.

September 2020 at the annual Labor Day camping trip, a beautiful friendship emerged in between all of the sarcasm and mischievous humor. Meghan, being very stubborn, was still not ready to admit that maybe she was wrong to turn him down, but by the last night she realized that he was everything she was looking for in a partner. A week later, we were sitting on a Cambridge riverbank, drinking boxed wine, enjoying every sunny moment with each other.

 

Fast forward 4 years, multiple moves, career changes and all the ups and downs in between, we hiked to the top of a mountain overlooking the Amalfi Coast, exhausted as we completely underestimated the miles of stairs we had to climb to get to the overlook. Andy got down on one knee, and to no one's surprise, Meg said yes.

 

After two years of wedding planning, we are here now and so excited to spend the culmination of the past 6 years of hard work, laughter, tears, and all the love with our friends and families as we embark on the next chapter of our journey.
