Please note, Grafton Vermont is not covered by Verizon cell service. The Grafton Inn has great Wi-Fi though, and they can help you sort out calls and texts over Wi-Fi.
AT&T people will be all set with a luxurious 5 full bars.
The dress code for our wedding is semi-formal/cocktail attire. Think cocktail dresses or a suit and tie or a sports coat.
The dress code for our welcome party is smart casual. It is an outdoor event with fire and sticky s'mores, so think mildly nicer than your every day attire, but no need to get too fancy!
We are really hoping to have an outdoor ceremony and welcome party!
Given we are in New England, the weather's cooperation is never a guarantee. There is an indoor backup plan should the weather have other ideas. Cross your fingers for us that we will have a pleasantly warm Spring day on May 2nd!
Everything for our wedding weekend is taking place in Grafton, VT town center. Once you arrive on Friday or Saturday, you will not need to leave or drive until check-out on Sunday! Everything is within walking distance (~5 min or less).
We encourage everyone to check out the Grafton Inn first and foremost. The entire Grafton Inn is reserved for our wedding on Friday and Saturday nights, and can be booked by calling the front desk at 802-843-2248 - let them know you're attending the Burke-DiDuca wedding.
The Grafton Inn is one of the oldest operating inns in America, and they've hosted guests such as Ulysses S. Grant, Henry David Thoreau, Theodore Roosevelt, Daniel Webster, Nathaniel Hawthorne, and so many more!
Other options include:
- Inn Victoria (12 min drive)
- Chester Inn (12 min drive)
- The Upper Pass Lodge (20 min drive)
- Windham Hill Inn (25 min drive)
- The Hartness House (25 min drive)
- A few local Airbnbs (varies)
The Grafton Inn has plenty of parking for hotel guests and wedding guests both! If the main lot is full, there is free parking along the main and side streets in town.
Our wedding ceremony starts at 4 PM. We recommend arriving a few minutes early to get situated and find your seats.
Our welcome party starts at 6:30 PM and runs until 9:30 PM. Come and go as you please during this time.
While we would love to have unlimited guests at our celebration, we are limited by venue capacity. We ask that only guests listed on your invitation attend.
Please RSVP by March 2nd. We love receiving mail, and we'd love to get your mailed RSVP! We understand that it is convenient to RSVP online too, and you can find online RSVPs here.
Of course! We love snacks!
Our welcome party will have beer, wine, and s'mores. We recommend grabbing dinner beforehand at the Phelps Barn Pub (which we love!) or MKT Grafton which is downtown, walking distance from the Grafton Inn.
Our wedding will include a cocktail hour with an open bar and hors d'oeuvres. This will be followed by a seated dinner, and capped off with cake and dancing!
Please let us know! The venue is fabulous about making sure you can enjoy dinner safely with us all.
There is a section in the online RSVP for dietary needs; you can also email burkediducawedding@gmail.com or reach out to Meghan / Andy directly.
Please ask! Meghan or Andy will be happy to answer any questions you have. The few days leading up to the wedding, you will probably be redirected to our wedding party, who will also be happy to answer any questions you have!
